The sister islands, Little Cayan and Cayman Brac, offer something a little more tranquil and are easily reached by a short island-to-island flight. For diving enthusiasts, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac have the lure of the famous "Bloody Bay" wall.

When to go

Anytime is good but as with most caribbean destinations, June to November is hurricane season and something to be aware of if planning a vacation buring this time period. Summers (June/July) are hot and humid with frequent thunderstorms. Winter is considered the busy season and the island does get busy! If you are planning to stay on Grand Cayman be warned, the traffic can get frustrating at times.
